SPIRAL WOUND GASKETS
Semi-metallic seals manufactured by spiral winding a V-shaped metal strip together with an inorganic filler material.
The metal material can be from stainless steel (304L, 316L, 316Ti, 317L, 347, Duplex, …) to special alloys: AL6XN, Hastelloy C22, Hastelloy C276, Titanium, Tantalum, …).
The filling material is usually: Graphite, PTFE or Mica.
They can be manufactured according to specific standards (ASME B16.20, UNE EN 1514-2) or according to specific customer design and different configurations:
S/A: without rings.
IR: with inner retaining ring.
CR: with outer centering ring
CRIR: with inner and outer ring.
Camprofile (or Kammprofile) gaskets are those formed by a metal ring with concentric grooving on both sides and a bag made of a soft material that guarantees the seal.
The metallic material can be stainless steel (304L, 316L, 316Ti, 317L, 347, Duplex, …) alloys.
These seals can be manufactured without rings or with integrated center outer ring (CR).

Mainly octagonal or oval in shape, according to ASME B16.20 standard or according to customer-specific design
Metal disks that have the mission of cutting the flow of a line or allow it and can have several configurations
– Spectacle blind (figure in 8), two disks (one blind and one open) joined by a metal plate;
– Paddle blank, one blind disc with handle
– Paddle spacer, an open disc (ring) with handle
These kits prevent the process of galvanic corrosion by ensuring the interruption of electrical continuity between adjacent flanges and isolating each component without interfering with proper tightening.
The insulation kits consist of a joint made of an insulating material suitable for the specific use, an insulating sleeve for each bolt and a pair of insulating and metal washers for each nut.
Electrical insulators formed by a rigid block of pipe section without screws, welded in the factory and ready to be installed.
It provides electrical resistance between the pipe sections and adjacent structures, thus improving the efficiency of the Cathodic Protection System. They are superior to insulation kits and require no maintenance
